We all know its not going to be, especially with them saying its a new franchise... but I want to believe.
They finally realized it sucks.
FSX has more shit for a lower price than Flight's DLCs.
Awww, and they were just getting their shit together, like adding trackIR support and deluxe versions of basic planes. :(
In my opinion the VCs, the high detail landscapes and the meta-game made this a much better and more immersive experience than FSX. It's a shame they didn't get to release the content the achievements hinted at.
FSX actually has aircraft with cockpits. The DLC for Flight doesn't even have goddamn cockpits.
This entire project was doomed to fail the moment they first showed it off. What a joke.
It was alright until they announced the model
I want to see flight sim 11, microsoft flight cant even be considered part of the flight sim franchise, hell, its barely even a sim

FSX was a great time-killer and still has a massive playerbase. FS11 would have to fill some pretty big shoes. (mostly with terrain and mapping.. use GeoEye, MS)

Seeing as they have been fired (again) you are best off with xplane

This is what happens when you casualize a sim, and then release planes for $15, which don't even come with its own cockpit
Flight Sim 95 had thousands of community made planes, some didn't have cockpits and used a default one, no big deal. But would you pay $15 for one? No
I like FS9 more than FSX to be honest, but yeah, Pretty much every Flight Sim 98 and onwards has more content in the sim itself, AND freeware (And payware if you so choose, good stuff to be had there) than Flight will ever have
$15 for a piece of rushed shit, with no cockpit? Or you can fork out $50 for Level D 767-300 (this used to be $30 but oh well), or PMDG, and get something so close to the real thing that you could fly a real 767-300 or 747-400 if you absolutely had to
Isn't EVERY new franchise meant to be as big as Halo or Gears of War?
Does anybody make a franchise like "nah, we'd rather be on the same level as S.T.A.L.K.E.R. or something."
I wanted to play that flight sim :(

X-Plane looks pretty awesome, its too bad the installation size is HUGE, I can understand why but I'm really casual to this stuff and would just mess around more than play for hours on end a day.
Microsoft Space Simulator Remake Please?

You do not need to install the entire world. That is why it is modular.
Apparently, following up a greatly loved sim with an arcadey microtransaction-based F2P that gives you two crummy planes and a single island state to fly them over doesn't work very well. Who'da guessed?!
