let's hope it takes over two and a half hours to complete

It took two and half years to animate Kevin Spacey and get fish ai
-snip lol read that as YEARS not hours. Excuse my stupiness-
You better deliver cause Wolfenstein is right around the corner.

I don't think I've ever gone through a CoD campaign that quick before.
Then again I play on Hardened so v:v:v

I never play cod on anything other than easy. There's no point, it only makes enemies annoyingly accurate
Kevin Spacey has always only taken up roles that offer a great mindblowing story so it could be good.
As for the overall game experience I don't think I'll be as optimistic.
Spening a lot of time does not equal quality storytelling.
But I just know they will be far above the Modern Warfare level of writing.

and then most of the people who buy it never touch the campaign
I wonder if it'll be an eastern european country deciding to invade the west
Why? Did they try writing something for 2 and a half years, after which they watched House of Cards and thought 'Yeah. That'll work'. With this new 3 developer cycle there will be a new CoD without a single player. There has to be.

nah man, the in thing now is some asian country, most likely china.

I dunno, he was in Superman Returns.
Then again, he was the only good thing about that movie.
I call that two and half years story brainstorming a total bullshit.
What else can they say to keep the people hyped?

[sp]AND DEN PRICE AND UREE GO TO A HOTEL TO KILL DA BAD GUY[/sp] AND THERE IS A MILLION BILLION BAD GUYS SHOOTING THE ROAD UR ON AND ITS ALL KABOOM BLAM BLAM BLAM
"This is great Timmy, but wouldn't this be too hard? Maybe we should cut down the number of-"
[sp]NO, PRICE AND UREE ARE JUGGURNAUTS[/sp]
"Give this kid another million."
It better be good then, for their own sake. The setting is not half bad this time around and could lead to some interesting places narratively. But I have this feeling it will fall short.. the focus will be on the multiplayer component, afterall.
It's just sad that you have that kind of immense market and can pour incredible amounts of money in the game compared to the rest of the industry and still manage to make games with mediocre, forgettable stories that last a few hours. It's such a shame.
It took 2 years to mash Crysis into a cod story?

You mean Metal Gear
You mean Metal Gear
Yeah.
Yeah that works.

It just took them 2.49 years to find a pencil, it was smooth sailing from there.
it was a pretty tactical move to do some huge gimmick like 'lets put spacey in the game', since ghosts was such a flop
this game will probably do ok
more like Call of Kevin Spacey: Advanced Kevin Spacey

Kevin of Spacey
I'd play a new CoD if you played as a soldier that ISN'T fighting on the side of 'Murica. Maybe a story where the country became a communist nation seeking world domination and starts wars to make all other countries be exactly like them! but I don't think any of the developers wanna make a game about how 'Murica really is do they?
An unshaven old man sitting at a desk covered with books from Amis to Zola. He's writing away on a laptop loaded with a three-thousand page manuscript saved onto the C: drive as Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare.docx. After he finished the final paragraph he stretched out his limbs and said "My life's work is finally complete". He wrote "The End" and pressed the blue floppy icon before his fragile heart gave out.
