That's most curious and highly interesting. I wonder if Nintendo has plans for Splatoon on NX or for there to be an expansion that comes out around that time that will make use of NX software? Is that why they're giving it to the winners? Are there cash prizes as well for this? Because otherwise I don't see a lot of people being interested in this competition.

Nintendo suddenly launching the NX wouldnt be a Saturn-tier fuckup by itself, if the launch day itself doesnt get pulled forward without game makers knowing. Still not the smartest idea though.

They're going to give it out early but they'll have armed guards surrounding it to make you unable to take pictures of it :v:

Westerns galore, sure esports like: League, Overwatch (Probably going to be dominated by Koreans at the first World championship), Starcraft, HoTS, Street fighter are completely dominated by asians. But there's still hope in these to at least get closer in skill towards the asians.

Theres another multiplayer SimCity, but it was designed for co-op.

This is really baffling, they must be planning on showing what the hell the NX is in the very near future because I haven't seen contests to give away a console that hasn't even been revealed since the 90s.

The fact nintendo loves Splatoon almost as much as I do makes me happy. They've been cranking out merch and little crossovers like fuckin crazy, and now this. This is great!
