I dont know if this is the wrong section, but theres no non-building PC section... so i'll post here. Please move, dont ban... please? Scratch that, just read the stickey. Ok, so my moms computer is almost 7 years old, and its runing slow as a turtle set to the slow setting. So, someone find me a laptop, for under $500, that will runs XP/ Windows 7. So, i have researched it, and i found the one i like, you find the one you think would be good, and tell me! (Used mostly for buisness... quicken quickbooks that sort of thing; ocasional DVDs, but nothing fancy). Ok, so thanks alot FP, let the search begin!!
Hm. Word and stuff would work on a netbook. No DVD's though unless you were to obtain an ISO.
Dear mods, by the "obtain an ISO" bit I mean to put the DVD in another computer and transfer across. I am not linking to or hinting warez.
I dont want a netbook, i want, pretty much, the most powerful, best looking, fastest laptop for under $500.

Also, a memory card reader would be nice, she has a digital camera, and its kinda large card...
The one I posted has a 5 in 1
Cool ok.
I have an Acer, I got it because it was cheap, (It was the cheapest one with dedicated graphics), it has blue screened a few times in game, and I don't take it to many places, so the hinges aren't much of an issue. However, I'm saving up for a build now.
