These guys have terrible working speed.
These guys have terrible working speed.
I think I remember reading somewhere that for a project this size they're massively understaffed. Doesn't surprise me because I mean how long have they been working on Hossin and yet haven't finished? What like 2 years?

Why are they calling dynamic weather a new announcement? It was known about since the beta.
Why are they calling dynamic weather a new announcement? It was known about since the beta.
Pretty sure they'd said "It's something we'd like to do eventually". I don't think they officially said they were actively working on it.
These guys have terrible working speed.
Do you even imagine how difficult it is to make an MMO and update it regularly
Do you even imagine how difficult it is to make an MMO and update it regularly
They legit have been behind schedule basically forever, though. Hossin was supposed to come out in September of last year. If they don't want people to chew them out for being late, they should stop promising things they aren't going to be able to deliver anywhere near on-time. Or at all.
Do you even imagine how difficult it is to make an MMO and update it regularly
It's not your average MMO though, it's basically Battlefield with larger maps and more players.

I mean I am well aware they are way behind, but optimization and continent redesigns weren't things they were originally planning on and both drastically ate into their schedule, but they had to be done. Now that they've got most of that stuff sorted they can get back on track.

[editline]2nd July 2014[/editline] And basically ONLY after they were pressurred by Sony to release it on PS4, because in it's current state it would never work properly on it.
Hossin is quite fun to play on considering it is not done and if you don't like to have to deal with air attacks as much then this is the continent for you. Continent locking is good for pushing people off of Indar too. At least once Hossin is finished they will have more time for developing the updates to the classes and vehicles that have yet to been updated. They also have the valkyrie to put into the game I cannot wait for.
Do you even imagine how difficult it is to make an MMO and update it regularly
It has to be double difficult when you fire most of your staff and replace them with Iranian student exchange code monkeys. SOE had my dream fps formula but decided to compete with Battlefield even if they didn't have to, and when they grew bored they just dropped it. Like with every other game they have made.
Maybe I'll redownload this
