I live in Tucson, Arizona, and I flicked on the news this morning to be greeted by the news that the Democratic representative Gabrielle Giffords had been shot in Tucson, Arizona on the corner of Ina and Oracle. They're reporting that she was seemingly shot in the head, and they're reporting an upwards of 12 individuals shot and injured. I'll be feeding information as I find it.
She's been rushed to University Medical Center, but there hasn't been any information as to her condition.

KVOA Tucson is reporting that the gunman has not been caught yet, and that all individuals in the area are to remain in their homes.

They just reported she substained gun wounds to the skull.
They're also reporting that she was meeting with some of the people she represents, she was only supposed to be here for the weekend before heading back to Washington.

All I can think is this not good, not good at all. This is has the potential to have very scary repercussions.
