ok so a few months back I got a new video card(nvidia Geforce 9600 GT) and tried it out with smod redux 6.1 (vs my old one: ati radeon s9250) and omg it looked beautiful, but when I tried to play gmod on 800x600 with everything max(thats recomended) all i get is 40 fps max and when I turn up the res to 1280x1024 its still the same even with lower settings.
CPU=P4 oced to 3.1
2GB ram
vista home premium(aero off,search indexing off, fullscreen )
whats going on.

Its a pentium 4. Bad processor. Thats the best youll get.
P4's are outdated.
