How will this work? Would they let one game shared between two people be played at the same time?
appears that if you have a computer that is authorised by steamguard for multiple accounts, they can now share games between the accounts on the machine

this would have been great like 2 years ago when i was switching between my brother's account to play fallout and my steam account to play TF2 [editline]11th September 2013[/editline]
Once a device is authorized, the lender's library of Steam games becomes available for others on the machine to access, download, and play
so ya multiple people on one machine
So the game sharing rumor/leak was right, but it's not as broad as sharing games with steam friends though still a nice feature.

[editline]11th September 2013[/editline] If the lender lends a person their library and the lendee decides to play Half-Life 2 for instance, but the lender wants to play Team Fortress 2, does it kick the lendee off or does it only kick them off if the lender also plays Half-Life 2? [editline]11th September 2013[/editline] I don't really see how this is much different than logging out of Steam and giving your friend your login information so he can play your games.

It's probably as good as game sharing is going to get, also.
Fucking awesome.
Valve still knows where its at where customer service is concerned.

Is it possible to play on a friend's library while they play on yours?
Is it possible to play on a friend's library while they play on yours?
That is not possible. It would most possibly kick the other person (the one who has borrowed the game probably).
Great step forward for steam. Just gotta fix that client and get rid of the steam.exe needed to be open to play games.
Is it possible to play on a friend's library while they play on yours?
as long as you do not play the same game at the same time I believe so you must both have logged in atleast once at eachother's computer though I believe (?)
Is it possible to play on a friend's library while they play on yours?
If you are playing different games, pretty sure yes. Maybe you can for example exchange TF2 games and play like that but I'm not sure.
