I know it's frustrating when your phone is borked, but telling an Apple Store staffer that you're "so mad I could pop a 9mm at it"—before revealing you actually have a real 9mm concealed—probably won't help matters.
But that's what a man allegedly did yesterday at the Apple Store in Cincinnati's Kenwood mall. According to reports, the man continued, "I'll do it right now. Look!", and opened the right side of his shirt to show a black 9mm handgun.
Kudos to the Apple Store employee who stayed calm and said she'd get it fixed. She walked him over to a technician before informing her manager, who called police.
The man was charged with "aggravated menacing, causing fear of harm". And even though he has a concealed weapons permit, could face charges for the gun because he didn't tell the deputy on the scene that he had it. Now that's some iPhone rage.
You think? Makes me wonder what would happen if we brought those people back in time...
God people do dumb things.
A really expensive phone broke...I would be angry to, but he went overboard with the gun.
must HAVE, not must of
You don't have to inform the security on duty you have a gun if you have a license on you for it...He didn't threaten anybody, he was making a fucking joke. Sure he went too far by SHOWING the gun, but he didn't draw it, or put his hand on it. I pull my knife like this almost daily.
Can't you get an app for a virtual gun on your iphone anyway, he could have gotten that and used ti and there you go, he's technically shot his iphone.

They'd probably kill themselves or invent whatever they're craving.
ipods and iphones are a fad just like most other shit that teens have, it's like a fucking Wii in your pocket

Have you ever USED one? They're actually pretty useful.
ahaha, this is what apple does to people :v:
must HAVE, not must of
I honestly can't understand why people write "must of"
It even sounds weird
Have you ever USED one? They're actually pretty useful.
There are better alternatives, though.

Must've and must of sound the same to me.
There are better alternatives, though.
Who cares...? Some people like the iPod\Phone over the alternatives. I don't have one myself, but I played with one, and a G1, and a few other smart phones, and I liked the iPhone better because it seemed easier to just pick up and use without knowing what I was doing.

If you haven't realised yet, it was broken.
Was the guy with the gun a niiiii...nice person? I guess not, he's very angry at that phone.

So you're saying that the better alternatives (and you didn't say they weren't better either) are not as good as the less better (grammar nazis, have fun) ones?

The iPhone and iPod touch are useful as much as carrying around a small computer. There are alternatives, sure, but the iPod Touch and iPhone pretty much nails it in speed, usefulness, and how you use it.
I like mine and consider it much more useful than a fad item. Anyone who hates on the iPhone or iPod touch usually never has one.

Or works at att. Trust me on this one. Apple has so much iphone only shit that we have to do it's just disgusting.
Oh god that poor iPhone I can't believe that monster even pointed that gun towards him! :saddowns:
Hacked PSP > iPhone, for carrying around a small computer that is.

What makes it better? An iphone supports data streamed through a network, a more accessible keyboard, and is over all just smaller to hold.
:wtc:
Only in America

You know that some people type faster with a phone than they do with a keyboard?
The people that socialise a lot?

Your Name, Avatar, and post (In combination) made me laugh.

But psp doesn't have number buttons.
And, most importantly, the PSP doesn't have an app store and a touchscreen.
(Yes, the app store is shit anyway, but it's better than nothing (or Cydia, because very few developers would develop for jailbroken phones))
