• Touchscreen Calibration Software

I'm using Ubuntu Netbook Remix on the Asus T91. When I run the touch screen calibration software, the instructions pop up, then the actual calibration screen just flashes black and says it has calibrated. I've looked for a work around for this, but I've been unsuccessful. Can anyone give me a hand with calibrating this either through another touch screen driver, terminal or getting this one to work properly? Done so much work on getting this thing to work nicely, be a shame to have it all scuffed up now due to the touchscreen being calibrated just slightly wrong in the y axis.
Run the software as root? It probably needs write access to xorg.
*facepalms* Hadn't thought of that. Just tried it, no luck. Thanks for your reply Cathbadh.
You'd think that me having a tablet pc would encourage me to actually get the touchscreen working. I just haven't really bothered since I am mostly using the keyboard anyway.
I use my touchscreen alot to use my t91 as an exercise book for college. It's just starting to irritate me that the input comes out a mm or so lower than where I touch the screen :(
Hmm try #ubuntu on irc.ubuntu.com
