So my good mate has bought me a pair of Plantronics GameCom 367 Gaming Headset since I needed a new mic to use in Dead Island. Now my only concern is that they have had a mixed review.
So people have said they are amazing for the price. They are very cheap and people have said the mic is amazing and sound quality is at most standard.
On the other hand others have said they can break quite easily and bass is kind of crap.
A user on the forum did recommend this brand and a older model. I found these on OC UK on a weekend sale.
I just want to know if you have used this brand or model what you think or at least what you have heard. Just want to know what I should expect.
In my experience, don't go with a headset. Go with some headphones and a desk mic or clip on mic.

They will be fine for what you are using them for.
Free headset, don't complain.

I ain't complaining? I was asking about the quality and the experience people have had with that brand. For example. Mic, bass and durability.
I have the exact same headset. Some of it feels somewhat cheap, but the sound quality is good for the price you pay. Mic quality is pretty shit, but I've had no problems with it at all. It's always reliable for me.
As for sound quality overall, I haven't experienced anything incredibly good, so I can't really say. Easily worth the $25 I paid.

Some people have complained that the durability is crappy, but I don't ever mistreat my hardware in any way, so mine hasn't degraded at all besides the increase in dog hair from my house.
I used these for a few years before switching to sennheisers.
The quality is above average, it's better than most headsets or earbuds you would pick up at a store.
The durability is terrible. Luckily I had a two year warranty on them, but i went through 4 of them before it expired. Three times the wiring in the left ear quit working (the wires have some protective coating to insulate them that eventually wears away) and one time I tripped on the cord plugged into the bottom front of my case and the cable literally ripped in half near the plug. Not off the plug, like in the middle of a smooth line it just tore apart. Take good care of the cable near the volume control and it should last you a long while.
For the time that you have them though they will provide comfort and decent audio, and the microphone is very sensitive with low background noise. You will enjoy it while it lasts.
Also you will want to clean the ears every once in a while, there's just a cushiony wrap around the ears that you can take off. I took a lint roller to it since I wasn't sure if it would shrink up or not, but they will get noticeably dirty over time.

My PC is in a pretty cramped corner. But hope they do the Job but I mainly want he head set for the mic and of course decent sound quality. Not expecting anything to fancy. But as long as people can hear me in game and the sound not being too terrible I'll be happy to use them.
