• I need a program which takes a car model and allows me to customize it

I plan to get my car repainted and have custom graphics put on it, I need some way to show the people working on my car exactly what I need. So the best thing I could have is basicly a program which takes a car model and allows me to customize the paintjob and allows me to place custom pictures on it. I'm just assuming there is one out there because, hell, theres a program which allows you to customize your own anime chick and screw her. just try to bear with me, is there such a program or anything remotely like it?
photoshop
If you want perfection learn 3ds max, otherwise go with an image editor.
use gmod. if any of the vehicle addons have the car you have, you can use the paint tool to make your adjustments.
Photoshop, or just make a basic model in Blender or something.
use gmod. if any of the vehicle addons have the car you have, you can use the paint tool to make your adjustments.
but for custom graphics I would have to convert pictures of what I want into vtfs, and even then they would have to be exactly perfect in size... Also, I was hoping for something that wouldn't force me to learn 5 months of photoshop or 3ds max..
I learned photoshop in a weekend (the basics). And two years later (now) I'm taking digital art I as a sophomore in high school and I'm wasting half my time in class because I finish everything early. You should start with some basic tutorials, google is your friend.
Need For Speed Underground.
To be honest I have some expierience with 3ds max but I can not seem to find a model of a 2001 mustang

http://rigsofrods.blogspot.com/ You could find your car model and edit the texture (They are PNG's most of the time) to your liking. And then drive it around :buddy:
Just photoshop a picture, would be much easier and you can get exactly what you want.
Go to a print shop or something, print out your decal and tape it to your car. Done.
Outside [sp]or photoshop[/sp]
