Your spending 60 bucks on a motherboard and 150 on memory? Should be the other way around. And please go with a intel when you save money.
ECS mobo, athlon 64 cpu, sunbeam psu, is your friend a retard?
Currently got a computer for 540. Bringing it back because it sucks and probably getting this. I'm going to BestBuy to see the difference with the two, but I want to see your suggestions. Other than that, is the rest good?

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=11499405 Not the best, off the top of my mind in 8 minutes. Give or take some parts. Over your budget but it'll get you going on most games. Won't let you render 7 movies at once though.
for a couple of dollars more! Why not then you will have my videocard :D
I highly doubt that's why he'll get it. The 4870 beats the 4670 by a significant amount.
My review.
Care to elaborate on "BLEH?" And Athlon 64 is horrible compared to todays CPUs, not good. It's not something you should buy. The 240 out performs it for only $3 more. It has a more modern socket (AM2+) that they actually build parts for and it has twice as fast hyper transports along with twice as large caches, all for the same wattage.
