I wonder how America would react if a foreign country made a video game where America was the antagonist..

Blame terrorism on video games.
I wish there was a modern game where we fought against the tyranny of the USA and/or UK

Thats different though, your fighting a rogue battalion thought dead that has no contact with the bulk of the U.S. He means fighting forces fully backed by their respective countries.
I knew it will be banned.

We're the heroes. You can't turn us into villains, we fight evil.
Yes how dare the EA portray China in a potentially negative light, even though in BF4 it's a rogue general and you are working with China to stop him. I mean it's not like China has ever made any games which portray other countries *cough* Japan, in a negative light.

I'd play it anyway because I don't care who it is I'm shooting. If it's a fun dudeshooter, I'm going to enjoy my dudeshooting.

Good point, there aren't any popular exam-
Oh right, there is, Modern Warfare 2.

It would probably get shitty sales but the government wouldn't give a damn. The American Government kinda sucks but they don't suck enough to restrict freedom of speech over something that petty.

Did you just respond to a joke post with a quote from Nietzsche?

We wouldn't give a shit.

Sounds like a good game

Canceled, Man, I really wanted that too.
Canceled, Man, I really wanted that too.
Not completely cancelled, they just said they're starting over. The whole 99% thing isn't exactly topical for a modern day American terrorist game.

There is story in China Rising?
There is story in China Rising?
I bet it's because it has word 'China' in its name and that the maps themselves are meant to be in China.
I wonder how America would react if a foreign country made a video game where America was the antagonist..
China already made one and I don't think anyone really cares.

This game had you fighting Western monsters that were invading Japan, and all the Japanese monsters were friendly.
Guess why it wasn't released here.

I can imagine if UK was the terrorist country we'd probably just find it amusing in real life and move on with our lives...because it's a game.

Just because it wasn't sold here, doesn't mean it was banned. You could use the exact same rhetoric to say why Mother 3 wasn't released here, and it'd make just as much sense.
