it's the ghost of tsunami's past

wtf is it?
I think the freakiest thing is when he picks up recording again at 22:28. Before you could see where a fire had obviously started somewhere but it wasn't major. But then you get to that point and the entire otherside of the river is covered is black smoke and flames like something out of an apocalypse movie.
Also, I thought they started playing "Nearer My God to Thee" in that last minute over the speakers.

Earthquake, tsunami. Couldn't think it could get any worse and then a fucking fire starts.

Swamp gas
Also, they seem to be pretty calm even though there are huge thing houses getting washed away. I'd probably freak out already.
I want to see a man casually smoking a cigarette while leaning over the balcony
That must have been hella scary. I have been in an imminent flood area before but nothing that crazy, and it was kind of exciting...My grandma lives right next to a river which was about to burst its banks for the 2nd time in 3 years, first time causing massive damage to the area. Last time, a lot of things were destroyed on the bottom floor of her house, so the second time we took every single bit of furniture upstairs, even all of the downstairs doors off and put them up there.
It never did come, but the first time my uncle and his wife were stranded in the upstairs of the house with only candles and the bottom half of the house filled with water, must be pretty terrifying.
Also 12:05 Lost smoke monster confirmed for real.

I'd like to think they were just watching in calm acceptance.
And this folks is why it's plain idiotic to live on the coast, since shit like this has and will continue to happen.

The Japanese are usually chill as fuck, even during the worst case scenario.

Key words from that statement:
calm acceptance.
Did I ever imply that they don't grieve? Of course they're going to after everything's said and done.

So? All it means is just an extra click.
i could very easily tell you that pretty much nobody in the world would just sit in 'calm acceptance' when their house and everything surrounding it is being torn apart
this is a single viewpoint from someone with a camera (probably being quiet for the purpose of the video).
not to mention, you can actually hear the distress from some people. nobody is going to sit in acceptance when their family could be in danger or worse right now
This video isn't new, I saw it in a documentary over a year ago.

It's just annoying. Like does it kill the OP to at least check before he clicks submit? The "Preview Post" button exists for a reason.
It goes from strong river flow to holy fuck a black sea monster made of garbage is eating the earth.
I wonder how much of that debris is coastal destruction that's been washed in and how much was local debris.
Also, those white things look like spray to me.
