1 million suckers
I don't want to touch a reskinned Warz/Survivor game
Well, it's free.. what do you expect.
I think warz is better than this crap
man, i wish we got one really well made fps zombie survival sandbox, single player or small playercount coop so there could be more focus on the actual gameplay. dying light was a great game but doesn't quite itch that scratch. now with all this crap clogging up the genre it feels like its tainted and will remain that way for a while.
its a zombie survival clone of another zombie survival clone
what fucking joy lmao

I'd rather just stick to dying light at best
any more of these zombie games and it'll only further ruin it
zombie games like dead rising / dying light CAN be amazing but 99% of them are stupid as shit.
Honestly Aftermath is what WarZ should've been however alot of people enjoyed WarZ for being extremely arcady and always fighting other players with instant action (Thus thai's had purchased their own licensed server/client) thus WarZ being successful no matter the shitty business practices they did earlier.
Aftermath lacks the speed of the conflict and it drags out much longer, It seems to focus more on territorial control and base building with scavenging being the top priority, The crafting mechanic is pretty neat and the territorial control gives players a goal to reach.
Also it's free so expect those ruskies/thais to migrate over.
Im sticking to the original arma-based dayz mods, and so far they have worked out pretty good. The arma 3 mod community is working on a few projects, some of them like Exile actually look pretty damn promising, having seen some of the beta features.
Some of the things that are pretty easily done with scripts in arma 3 like attaching objects to vehicles can make for very interesting mechanics. Because arma 3 has really good terminal ballistics, the principles of armor design such as slope and spacing actually matter so there can potentially be a lot of depth arising out of just sticking shit to a truck. Like if you know how, with a few metal fences you could probably mostly armor a truck against 7.62x54 rounds, definitely against handguns. The flipside is that its very difficult to armor against 12.7mm rounds and up.
