But according to the Huffington Post, the Garold Wayne Interactive Zoological Park in central Oklahoma has been investigated by US agencies and animal rights groups.
The park was investigated after 23 tiger cubs died there between 2009 and 2010, and has been fined and lost its licence in the past for violations under the US Animal Welfare Act. Last year the zoo was accused by The Humane Society of allowing children to handle and pose with juvenile tigers, Reuters reported.
Zoo owner Joe Schreibvogal denied the allegations, saying he the humane society was out to bankrupt him.
Last week the park, which has more than 1000 animals, was damaged by the massive tornado that tore through the nearby town of Moore, but no animals were injured.
