Ubuntu Studio Freezing and Crashing

Hello there.

I've recently installed Ubuntu Studio x64, with the Music Production outfit and the Audio Plugins. It all works fine for a few moments, and then my mouse and keyboard stop working, and if I unplug my mouse and plug it back in, it lights up for a second then turns off again. Everything still works in the background, but it's not much use to me if my Mouse and Keyboard can't do anything.

Any ideas why/how to fix it?

Oh, it's version 9.10 by the way.

Try reinstalling the mouse and keyboard drivers. Also HAL perhaps.

sudo apt-get install xf86-input-keyboard xf86-input-mouse hal

Or, update. Whatever.
