That graphic is so cheeky, haha. Good on CD Projekt. The Witcher games are great and seem like such a labor of love.
I find the first such a drag to play. The second is awesome though.
Is Witcher 3 coming out this year or next?
Was never interested in the Witcher. I am however, SEVERELY IN NEED FOR CYBERPUNK 2077.

Six million? Its always six million when it comes to Poland...

Now I want to play TW1 again but running around the outskirts with a steel sword is a drag
it's because of the sexy scenes
The first is pretty bad honestly. I played TW2, then read the first book, and then went to play TW1 but it's pretty boring, without very much direction, and the only reason to play it is its story/background, of which there's not a crazy amount. You don't need to play TW1 to enjoy TW2. I highly recommend TW2 actually.
The early areas of the first game were a bit of a drag considering the game's tendency to drag things out, but its music, beautiful environments, story and habit of actually letting you figure shit out without holding your hand all of the time really sucked me in. And suddenly I had clocked 79 gameplay hours on a single play-through. But yes, you can get by without playing TW1 if you really really don't feel like it, as the story stands mostly on its own. A most a few references will fly over your head, some characters will get introduced as if you know them and you won't have your own savegame to import. CDPR just seems like such good guys that really love their game and the community.

Fuck, I really need to beat Witcher 2. I've been putting it off for so long.
TW1 is pretty great, but like most older RPGs, it takes a bit of effort to get through the more tedious parts. Glad I played it before TW2 was released.
I feel like I'm the only one who hates both witcher games. I've heard so much praise about the graphics, but it doesnt look anything special to me. Neither is the gameplay. I really want to like it though. I've tried playing it several times but I can't get into it.

The combat is pretty tedious and doesn't have much variety, the graphics are obviously not great but still, it has a good story, interesting quests(Not all of them) and it does grow on you after playing it for a while. While you don't need to play The Witcher 1 to enjoy 2, I do suggest to atleast try it if you like old-school rpg's(And do play a bit longer than the first part at the castle, it gets better)
