Despite this film being a obvious ripoff, I found it haunting and fun to watch. It was more like Moby Dick but in reverse. Revenge to the end

I loved this movie, surprised so many people hate it. One of my favorite films of 2012.

I remember seeing that when I was a kid. Don't remember much, except a scene where the whale took out a pier with some people on it.

I understand why people hate this movie, but I love the hell out of it.
This movie failed in the box office

I loved it so much when I rented it. I bought it on blu-ray soon after, but sadly the disc doesn't work on my PS3 because Lionsgate sucks with blu-rays.
Because people were like "oh wow not again the last one was super bad xd"

I liked the first one and I like the new one.

I didn't love it, it was an ok movie. Just everyone else absolutely hated it

I can see how the shakycam was a little overwhelming and disorienting, but I loved this movie.

Not exactly sure why, but I loved this movie.
Everyone says Event Horizon is meh, but I liked it a lot.

All of them.
I know most people think Fight Club is overrated but truth be told it's one of my favorite films
Cloud Atlas.

overrated? maybe. But nobody with any kind of taste in film hates that movie.
[editline]14th January 2013[/editline]
Anyway mine is
Sucker Punch
pretty women and dragons and robots and soldiers and boom kaplow keeps my dumb little brain stimulated for over an hour this movie is SO GOOD
Freddy Got Fingered, it's like it's so bad it's good so bad bad that it's actually cleverly good. It's sorta like a more super over the top offensive Tim & Eric imo, or rather it's like an anti-comedy satire but with its own merits and style to still be funny. I think the movie just came out at the wrong time and deserves second viewings.
Pirates of the Caribbean 4, I'm just an overall sucker for Jack Sparrow, I mean he doesn't make a good protagonist since he's more of a mascot and lancer overall, but he's just a really great character for me that I'm willing to let the mediocre stuff of the plot go. The movie wasn't very memorable but damnit it was fun. I came in expecting more Jack Sparrow and Barbossa piratey sillyness and fun, I got what I came for. First one is still the best and could probably be more or less considered to be the only good one, but I think 4 beats the 2nd and 3rd one in terms of being entertaining and closer to a pirate Monkey Island fun humor and action feel.

I loved Pirates of the Caribbean 4, I think Blackbeard had a more original personality and was a bit anti-hero rather than being a villain
This is in my top 10 too.

yes district 9 was awesome, the whole thing resembles apartheid a lot
also i loved cloverfield but everyone else said, meh
in fact im gonna watch it right now just because of the parasite scene
as someone raised on both Star Wars AND james bond i thought this one was actually pretty good. Also, it has a killer-ass soundtrack by John Barry.

I really liked Watchmen and I know a lot of people didn't like it.
I am a huge fan of the Graphic Novel and I was pleasantly surprised with the movie.

oh see a lot of my moviebuff friends kinda get irked if I talk about Fight club
I can't see why
I mean fight club isnt THE DEEPEST MOVIE EVER like some people claim it to be but its still a pretty gosh darn good film

they're not "moviebuffs" if they're freaked out by a fairly simple film.
I saw Fight Club when I was about 10 and it seemed perfectly normal.

I know, I know, I'm supposed to hate this movie with every fiber of my being but...I can't bring myself to. I wouldn't say I love the film or even that it's a particularly great movie, but I thought it was a decent action film with an interesting concept, solid acting, absolutely fantastic set/locale design, and some great sound. Why it got completely shit on by...well, just about everyone still manages to confuse me. It's not a masterpiece but I certainly don't think it deserves the 2/10s that I've seen it getting.
Indiana Jones And The Kingdom Of The Crystal Skull.
