haha yeah its almost like they were caught in the middle of an event that killed at least 17 people
A lot of people died from these avalanches because of the earthquake in Nepel. I wasn't even aware of this.
The OP probably should have given some more information about the situation I guess.
People tried to flee as the onrushing wall of snow, ice and rocks took out large sections of the camp.
"They were trying to outrun the avalanche and you cannot," said Pederson. "So many people were hit from behind, blown off the mountain, blown into rocks, hit by debris, tents were flying off."
He said he took shelter behind a large pile of stones.
"I could hardly breathe, but I could stay until the avalanche was over," he told CNN.
A huge cloud of snow dust billowed hundreds of feet into the sky.
"We all ducked for cover until the cloud passed and then started dealing with the aftermath," Reiter said.
That included at least 17 people killed, dozens injured and many others missing, he said. They are one part of the enormous human toll in Nepal and beyond from the catastrophic quake.
Because that's definitely all I can say about it. I skipped over the 45 seconds or so of the guys laying on the ground shouting fuck. What do you want us to say? They were on a dangerous mountain, where people die all the time. Its a shame that an earthquake caused an avalanche and wiped out the supposedly safe camp. Would you like us to organize some donations? Or perhaps volunteer to go dig up corpses? Its a tragedy and there's nothing that can be done to reverse the damage done. There's no need to act high and mighty about it.
I mean oh those poor people. My condolences to their next of kin.

coulda said nothing
So did the avalanche manage to wring loose the dozens of irretrievable corpses from previous expeditions?
Holy shit, seeing that massive white wall coming towards them got my heart pounding, that shit must've been scary as fuck.
So did the avalanche manage to wring loose the dozens of irretrievable corpses from previous expeditions?
I'm assuming that those irretrievable corpses are above the death zone, where oxygen levels become too low to sustain life. That high up all of the snow is permafrost; that isn't very loose. An avalanche would have to be quite strong to move the snow about that high up, let alone move all of the bodies.
Reminds me of this:

A friend of a friend is up there at the minute, was at the North part of basecamp when it hit. Decided to continue with his climb instead of coming down.
I would piss myself if I saw that coming towards me, holy shit.
