i think my brothers have beat ffvii about 12 times combined, probably 100% around 5 if they would do ffvii hd i think theyd shit themselves

Which is a bad idea because he's this thing called protagonist. You don't want the players to hate the protagonist.

I liked FFX for it's combat system, normal turn based games are the way to go, or you go straight up real time combat like the Tales series, not in between, personally never found that working well. Except in Ni No Kuni, but even then I found myself wishes for something along the lines of tales.
