This is my current build: Operating System Ms Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit SP1 CPU Intel Core 2 Quad @ 2.66GHz RAM 4.00 GB Dual-Chanel DDR3 @ 1333MHz Motherboard Gigabyte EP43t-UD3L Screen SyncMaster 20inch (1600x900@60Hz) Graphics Card Sapphire ATI Radeon DL 4770 Hard Drive 488GB WD Caviar Black Optical Drive Pioneer DVD-RW DVR-218L ATA Device Case Antec 300 Recently I've been getting awful FPS on all of my games and often crashes. On the 1st of July I will be getting a: Cooler Master HAF 922 and a Sapphire ATI Radeon HD 6970 and I will proceed to upgrade my PC untill all the problems are gone. 1. What do you think the biggest bottle neck on my system is right now? 2. What should I do to remove this bottle neck? 3. Do you guys think that getting a HAF 922 and a 6970 is a good idea? If not hwy not? P.S. I wont get a nvidia graphics card
What's wrong with nvidia. No bottlenecks in your pc atm, though your graphics processor is a bit old.
Nothings really wrong with nvidia but 2 of my friends got them an they made some of there other components over heat because they had bad cooling like me. other than that I'm sort of an AMD fanatic.
What's your PSU?
I wont be able to answer that today because: to check it i have to take the side off of my PC, to do that i have to move my PC, and to do that i have to unplug it and turn it off. I'll be able to answer in the morning though. [editline]8th June 2011[/editline] Although I'm pretty sure it's 650w
CPU is a bit old so it might cause a slight bottleneck with a 6970 but nothing major. I'd probably guess only a small FPS drop. Also you only have a 32-bit OS so with that 1GB graphics card you'll only be getting about 3GB usable RAM.
Download Windows 7 (Your key works for both 32 and 64) HAF 912 560 ti/570 (stop your bullshit about not getting an nvidia card, they will perform better at your resolution). It shouldn't bottleneck that bad, just get an aftermarket cooler and overclock
Download Windows 7 (Your key works for both 32 and 64)
It does? Is it possible to upgrade from 32 to 64?
