For a growing number of American kids, porn is their sex ed. Now Pornhub is hoping to offer their audience some more formal lessons in how to be a healthy and happy sexual being.
On Wednesday, the massive adult entertainment destination took the somewhat surprising step of launching the “Pornhub Sexual Health Center.” They're hoping the free sub-site will become a go-to resource for some of their 70 million daily users on all manner of topics, including STIs, sexual safety and how to manage relationships.
They’ve chosen Dr. Laurie Betito, a renowned sex therapist, to direct the site and they’ll also be working with a number of doctors, therapists and other experts to offer advice and answer questions. Corey Price, Pornhub’s Vice President, told Mashable, “Our goal is to provide our visitors with a site that has credible and insightful information, rather than have them scouring the internet.
Pornhub is fucking awesome.
Imagine a porn website being more dedicated to proper sexual education than your own school system.

Rather, imagine your school system being this dedicated to sexual education.
You know, I'm always deeply impressed by the ability to do good that exists within people in the porn industry.
It's just such an odd thing, that people who commodify such a basic human act, who enable such flagrant self-indulgence, are some of the best champions (in my opinion) of goodwill and charity.
That's just neat.

I admittedly find something ironic about this in a funny way because porn usually transmits unrealistic ideas of sex to younger minds, and now the most popular site is hosting sexual education. Topkek.

I smile every time I read "PornHub" in a headline.
I mean, real talk, consider for a second that the society we live in, this is actually going to be many young people's main resource for sexual education because their parents go like "Ewewughgh" and their school is like "All we will tell you about sex is to NEVER EVER DO IT UNLESS YOU GET MARRIED"
like as much as Pornhub likes to do random shit cause it's nice, good PR, and also "woahoah-hey! Look, pornhub's doing something wacky again!" this is like actually needed and going to help people and it's kind of fucked up we need Pornhub for this :v:
Pornhub found the next Old Spice method of advertising.
I wonder how many people will boycott PornHub over this... who are probably also the same people who would argue that the sex ed in school is wrong and that it should be the parents responsibility, etc.

The levels of prude might only be matched by the victorian era.
Something is fucking wrong with a society that thinks it's more okay to show people being blown up and shot and various other violent acts than to show children a nipple.
I love that PornHub isn't just another porn site on the internet that's trying to make a buck off horny teenagers. The guys over there are not afraid of telling the world "hey sex is something that is about as normal as everyday tasks and it shouldn't be taboo" and they make a ton of cool shit based on that concept. They're awesome.

If thats the case then they're already boycotting it and this will just further their opinion.
I trust a website just as much as I trust teachers teaching sexual education, which is basically null.
Parents should be the teachers. The more people that get into porn, the more deluded society is going to become toward body types.
Porn isn't good for anyone. It's actually bad for the mind. I doubt the website will feature some average joe, and average girl fucking while it explains what is going on.
I guess it sounds bad when I put it this way, but there is plenty of research that shows porn is bad for men, and women. Not just your "hey man porn is bad it's lewd and shit" research.
I just think the more porn that society views, the worse we'll get. Actually exploring your sexuality with someone safely is a lot better, because then we won't have big mclong cock making suzzy mc titty butts in every, god, damn, porno.

Did you even look at the link?
Pornhub should run for the next US election.
What would their hashtag be?
#I'mInHer?

Porn is a non-issue unless it's all you do all day. Also body types is a personal thing.

What if you have abstinence/"no sex until marriage or it's a sin" parents that refuse to tell you anything? And besides, being a parent doesn't make you an expert on sex. I'm all for more sex education (real education that is, not the garbage some places like my own state have), but honestly, I wouldn't trust most parents with it.
Porn is a non-issue unless it's all you do all day. Also body types is a personal thing.
Arguable. Porn can be pretty infectious, and I'm sure it doesn't help. Body types can be a personal development, but I'm sure it doesn't help when most of the women in porn are slim, slender, and usually gone through surgery in some shape or form.
I'm glad that the website is just information, but I'm just voicing my opinion on the subject. It can be wrong, but it's a different viewpoint on pornography.

Fuck, the person in charge of my country's (Poland) sex ed program wants it to be all about marriage life and is against birth control.

Doesn't really matter, porn is here to stay so we better arrange ourselves with it, that includes getting educated,
which they want to do so I see no further problem.

Amazing things come from the strangest of places, it seems.
To think that one of the world's most prominent distributors of pornography would offer sex ed materials. Though funnily enough, it's like they KNOW that teens will be watching, and are using their position of influence to enlighten them.

Of course they do. Everybody was a teenager once. :v:

I don't like the way they tell about pulling out method. Nobody should ever trust pulling out as the only form of protection, but their stance about it seemed like "it's okay to only pull out if you're good enough".

Mom and dad don't always know best, you know.
My school's sex ed was optional and went over the pure science of what happens and didn't force any opinions or propaganda down my throat. What would having my Christian you-should-practice-abstinence and swearing-is-the-devil parents be better at teaching me? Sex ed, or how to follow Christian morals?
As long as it doesn't use actual porn for the education I think this is fine. Porn can be kind of damaging in that it gives people unrealistic expectations for what sex can be like and what their partner wants from it.
A porn hosting website is more interested in the well being and knowledge of today's citizens than our government is.
Good, if boys younger and younger are being found here
might as well teach them something
A porn site educates people now?
We live in bizarre times.
