From what I've seen, Need For Speed : Most Wanted 2012 is basicly a reskinned Burnout Paradise

While not a new game, burnout takedown would be amazing for an HD remake.
Holy fuck. I love Burnout, but I love Road Rash even more. I have been waiting for a Road Rash sequel for goddamn 10 years.

I love Road Rash, I was just playing the 64 version yesterday.
Oh man, burnout 3 was amazing.

It was definitely my favorite. In fact its one of the few games I have played where there was nothing wrong with it that wouldn't be unobtainable for the time.

Why make a new one? There's already a new burnout and it's called Nfs most wanted...
Criterion games doesn't know how to make racing games any other way than in burnout style.
Any game they make will be a burnout clone more or less.
I think burnout games are shitty and this new nfs they've made is just as shitty as their previous burnout games.

because the n64 version is a god-tier game and there's pretty much nothing wrong with it, even the levels were an obvious inspiration to burnout 3

IMO, it isn't amazingly great, but I suffer from "realisticittis", which makes you throw a fit when a gun doesn't looks realistic in a game in comparison to its real world counterpart, but that actually doesn't really annoys me enough.
As said, it isn't amazingly great, mainly because it doesn't has a multiplayer like Killzone had (and imo, made the game a perfect 10/10 even with some glitches here and there), but its pretty entertaining.
Special mentions to the first view models of the guns, which look FANTASTIC.
Black is one of the better shooters I've played. They just nailed the cinematic feel to the dot and the guns felt so fun to use.
Road Rash is going to be another Burnout clone, this time with bikes.
Or not.
If I'm correct, Criterion developed several bike games during the old Burnout days.
