Do the British have a deeper hatred of Muslims than any other county? I mean there are people in the US that hate or dislike Muslims but it seems like a decent portion of the Britons REALLY hate Muslims.

I'm so ashamed to share the island with the sort of person who would do this. Reflects badly on us all. I miss the days when our stereotype was 'tea and scones old chap tally ho'.

I remember going to a party around the age of 15 with family and friends to celebrate someones birthday, met three big lads well above my age who were donned in hoodies sticking together and keeping away from the rest of the group. When my Uncle and I had a chance to talk to them they were talking about how Muslims and other non-whites were "taking our jobs" and "ruining British life" and things like that. One of them told me he really wanted to firebomb a Mosque because of how much he hated Muslims and was part of the EDL (can't remember if it was the BNP or something else.) He told me that if I'd watch the news and I'd see a Mosque bombing somewhere in Birmingham. Luckily, that didn't happen.
