Hi recently my Garrys Mod and shadowplay do not work. It works with all my other games but not gmod. I have the latest drivers and everything, and have deleted, and reinstalled everything, including my directx and it still won't work.
It works on my brothers laptop with the same graphics card, drivers etc, but not on mine! :(
I have noticed something though, when my garrys mod opens, my windows colour scheme changes slightly when I close my game, and something is telling me there must be some sort of error when I play gmod.
I'm not sure this properly shows it, but I tried to record what happens when I close the game http://sendvid.com/r3zlvbd3
This is really annoying me because I really need shadowplay to record so any help is appreciated
shadowplay has a tendency of shitting itself, even with beta drivers.

yeh i know its pretty unreliable, but do you have a suggestion on what i could do, because im starting to lose my cool with this problem now xD
Anyone?
Use OBS with NVENC settings. That uses the shadowplay hardware, but actually has software that functions without requiring you to sacrifice goats.
Also you get all the other stuff in OBS like overlays and such.

Is it one of those recording programs that takes a massive hit with fps like Fraps? Thanks for the feedback btw I appreciate it :)
It doesn't impact your framerate.
If you set OBS to use the Nvidia Encoder aka NVENC, it uses the same hardware of the GPU as Shadowplay does.
