There was a definitive artstyle this might not look so bad. And perhaps a less self descriptive title, I hate it when indie devs do that.
I really hate when devs try to tack on "Roguelike" to any game with any sort of elements from it. If it doesn't play like Rogue, it isn't a Roguelike. Just because a game has procedural generation or permadeath doesn't make it a Roguelike, fuck's sake. Hate that it's become a buzzword.

The way the weapons move around, it looks more like a Duke Nukem 3D clone, just with cartoony graphics.
I can't put my finger on it but for some reason it reminds me of Marathon.

Agreed. However there is a term they CAN use for these kinds of "not-quite roguelikes" (that isn't the term though), by the name of roguelite, wherein it has certain aspects lifted from Rogue and roguelikes such as the procedural generation and permadeath, but is not a turn-based RPG wherein the enemies make their move when you make their move.
Roguelite is a much better term for these kinds of games, even if it sounds very similar to "roguelike".
Everything about this game screams half assed. The trailer made me cringe.
And that dual wielding pistol animation. Why the hell is the character flailing his arms around like they're on fire?
That is the ugliest thing I've ever seen out of gaming.
I played the demo. It. Wasn't bad.
However, I have an affinity towards low-effort shooters.
Such as Chrome, or Chaser.
jesus christ the narration of that video on the steam store page is so cringeworthy
Actually, I think it looks fun. I will definitely try the demo out, the trailer was pretty bad though.
I used to grow up playing such games and I love it. You guys are too harsh.
I remember finding a trailer for this a long time ago on greenlight.
