This is the moment 16 hooded men jumped out of a white van and kidnapped a terrified groom-to-be - for a prank.
Wearing balaclavas, brandishing baseball bats and setting off smoke bombs the stags surrounded the car Ollie McAninch, 33, was driving down a quiet country lane with his fiancee Clair Hart.
They stopped the car, pulled him out and dragged him to the ground where they bound and gagged him before bundling him into the back of a van.
s the 'attack' started Clair pretended to scream with terror but as soon as Ollie was dragged from the car she started to laugh at what was happening to her fiance.
Unfortunately for the management consultant the 'gag' didn't end there. Terrified Ollie was ordered to change into a Guantanamo-style jumpsuit and driven more than 100 miles to the Devon countryside where he was stripped and told to wear a lime-green Borat-style mankini.
The stress of the ordeal caused Ollie to suffer shingles, an illness often found in combat veterans, and he was told to keep away from Clair for a month.
Now that is how you pull a prank :v:
I've heard of pranks but there's a line to it.
This is however, pretty funny.
Yeah, giving this guy shingles is hilarious.
Yeah, giving this guy shingles is hilarious.
Hence why I said there is a line to it all, the initial part of it is funny, the aftermath and actions after not so much.
Was she driving? I would have just sped away, not caring about the attackers' well being in the process.
They went waaaay too far imo.

Yes but she was in on it
Yes but she was in on it
Yeah, I realize that, just missed the part that said if she was driving or not, I would have at least took off on foot, if I didn't freeze up that is.
Yes but she was in on it
I would end the engagement right then and there.
i thought shingles were a more powerful version of the chicken pox, not a mental disorder.
A story comes to mind where a woman hired a person to play a robber and break into the house when her husband was still in the house in order to scare him. The husband, frightened for his life, killed the actor.
When you put a person in a fight-or flight situation and that person fears for their life, people could get seriously hurt or even killed. These pranks aren't funny, they're stupid and they result in real pain and death. These people got extremely lucky.
Shingles is most common in older adults and people who have weak immune systems because of stress, injury, certain medicines, or other reasons. Most people who get shingles will get better and will not get it again.
I'm guessing that the stress caused the virus to return.
There was a CSI episode exactly like this.
Season 10, Episode 9: Appendicitement
Who the shit wrote that article. It feels like I'm reading quickly jotted down notes or something.
That prank went too far.
The guy thought the plot was hilarious following the prank, and he'd pulled pranks of a similar degree on the same friends.
Read the article.
Holy shit you guys are such drama queens, it's a joke, the wife was in on it, and the husband was a good sport about it
10/10 awesome stags

yeah but he got shingles and that probably seriously affected him mentally
yeah but he got shingles and that probably seriously affected him mentally
No it didn't.
And shingles aren't cancer, it's easily treatable depending on the severity of it.

Complications can occur if untreated, however he caught it right away.

Is that Measles that are the more powerful version of chicken pox?
I would have shot them as soon as they started attacking, dumb bastards.
Oh, Hell I would have just used a simply whoopee cushion, but this is so much better! :v:
I would have shot them as soon as they started attacking, dumb bastards.
No you wouldn't.
No you wouldn't.
This type of thing can and has happened.
I would have shot them as soon as they started attacking, dumb bastards.
People in the UK don't carry guns around with them

You'll need to find a girlfriend first.

Except crims.
They should have stopped when they tied him up and maybe they coulda laughed it off. But they just took it too far.
