Alright... So.. That's the setup. Please feel free to suggest on things that say [Need Suggestions] and anything else :) I do have a DVD-CD Burner.. and a Blueray Burner so no need for those. I also plan on getting a 32" and putting it in the corner on the wall on one of those little tiltable turnable hinge things where my L Shaped desk is.. Laptop on one side, my desktop on the other when I'm multi tasking coding and stuff like that. Hook the 32" To my laptop or desktop.. havn't decided yet..
So please suggest :)
Total budget?
I definitely suggest you use Newegg if at all possible, it will save you a fair amount of money. I would keep the E7300, however, I would also get an aftermarket CPU cooler and overclock it. :D
Also, you'll probably want more hard drive space.
Lastly, make sure that RAM you have is DDR2. :P
My RAM is DDR2 :) I already have 4GB's of it. I already have a aftermarket CPU cooler on my current case. My current 7300 works pretty good atm with the Aftermarket. I may overclock it if I decide to keep it.
My total budget for a upgrade is around 400$. I'm keeping the RAM & Motherboar for sure. Already have a Aftermarket Cooler & DVD / Blueray Burner. For the harddrive space, The 250GB Is only for my OS, I have a 500GB Maxtor I'll use for File Storage + a 160GB Portable Hardrive.
[Edit] I have Dual 80mm's in the back of my current case and a 120mm in the front. Will migrate onto new case.
Hd4870.
I'm not a extreme gamer. By Extreme I don't play all the high end kick ass graphics games... I game extremely, I.E Play Alot, But not on the high end games.
I play:
Garrysmod
Team Fortress 2
Counter Strike: Source
EvE Online
I do alot of Photoshop Rendering.. Some Flash. Alot of coding.. and I'm a extreme multi tasker.
So, I don't want something that goes over the edge. My laptop can handle all of that with still recieving a average of 50-100 FPS On all games I play, along with good multi-tasking. I'm starting up a Gaming Community, I do alot of LUA Coding for DarkRP and I need to multi-task cause well... I just do. It's what I do, I work alot. Plan things, I'll have word, photoshop, Control Panel for my server and GMOD Open at the same time on my Laptop and it will not lag one bit. It's a good machine, I wan't my desktop to match. But better performance, so I may multi-task even more :)
Edit: I'm running Windows 7 64-Bit
~snip~ newegg.com and not .ca
The reason I order from Tigerdirect is, my fatheres hospital works with them all the time. He's the IT Director.... I get free shipping and I get it the same day of ordering if before 12 PM. + I get discounts on alot of the items.
IMO just keep all that shit you have and replace the video card with a 5850 or something. Maybe add another hard drive.
I could probably do that... I do have a 1.5 TB Hard Drive I'm able to replace it with.. and a 5850 Would do or something similiar... Thanks :) I'll be getting a XFX Radeon 5770 along with another 4GB Of RAM.

A popular budget case. I don't have any experience with these, but it should work. It has cool blue LED fans too.
Thats all for less than 400. It'll be around 400 when you factor in tax (if you live in CA or NJ) and maybe shipping.
