I'm wondering if anyone has ever used any of these cash for laptops websites. I'm wondering because I have about 3 or 4 laptops that sorta kind of work and with the combined offering from these websites I could probably get myself a decent new one. But they also look very scam like so I wanted to ask about before shipping my stuff off to them
Anything involving cash for X is a scam, go to a pawnshop and get more money for anything that X lists.
What about ebay?

Ebay should be fine too.

Pawn Shops rip you off though since they're a business and they're just looking to make money.
Pawnshops also probably wouldn't take broken stuff...at least in the way these are

Ebay is just a pain
I actually got some decent cash from Walmart for a laptop.
If you're not willing to use the hassle of ebay, look for people that buy broken pc's and stuff off of craigslist. I sold my old desktop for 250$ and my broken laptop for 100$

No shit, every business is making money. Ebay is also a way to do it but has more effort to put in and you may not get any bids. Thing is though, most of em don't know the price of anything.
