I just tried launching McAfee and it said there were updates and restart, so I restarted and tried launching again, and I blue-screened. I'm gonna try uninstalling it right now. any thing else I should do besides that? or any other Anti Virus I should use? Any help would be appreciated!

Well I have no idea what happened now. I just restarted after uninstalling and now my computer won't start and is in "startup repair" guys, what the fuck happened? (btw posting on my phone)
Try and get into safe mode if you can and uninstall it. If I recall, one of their updates earlier this year did it to everyone.

Thanks, I did forcequit it and restarted again, so far so good. now I think I'll get Avast. do any of you disagree?
