I agree, however E3 this year is going to be nothing but next-gen consoles for most people so I really don't blame these developers for getting their news out early.
Same goes with PAX though. It's all just 'announce gamez!!!' These could easily be just a celebration of games in general.

They were like that in the beginning, then major publishers hijacked them as a way for cheap publicity and hype.

I don't like the fact that their attention would be even a little diverted from Rome 2....plus they've never done two at a time before as far as i'm aware. Extremely curious as to what this is.
