Every time I try to connect to a sever on a game it will not let me join in... every time I try it drops the connection.
I got a wireless usb connector
my signal is 4 bars....
But my Internet runs 'fine'.
Anyone here know what the problem could be?
Is this only with Source games?
Probably blocked of ports in the router.
Look at ur router settings.

Just type the ip in your adress bar and press enter.
usually its
192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1 or 192.168.2.1
If its not open cmd (by tuping cmd in the windows search bar and trace a random adres by running:
tracert 145.24.129.221
the first one or two ip's showing up should be you router/modem try these ip's in your adress bar untill you see a welcoming login screen.

well i found out the problem it was AVG :|
AVG has become pretty bad. Best use another antivirus like Avast! Or MSE

Ok, because games downloaded from... "Less than legal" sources usually don't have online.
Just wanted to know if that wasn't the problem.
