that's great and all but can you make a controller that doesn't cost $100+ each and just provides the basic functionality I need for most games?

Unless they make them with some form of muscle fibres to simulate the resistance of me actually grabbing an object, it's going to be shit, the whole point of VR is extra immersion and if I'm grabbing something ingame but in reality my hand feels no resistance, no thanks.

Those controllers are going to be this generation's version of the Nokia brick. They are resilient as hell.

Easy to fix and otherwise sturdy, but some people may not be able to figure the issue out and be fucked out of a warranty. Hopefully though HTC aren't scummy with them though :v:
