The concept of that show revolves around Bugs and Daffy leaving the woods and moving to the suburbs with "colorful neighbors" including Sylvester and Tweety, Granny, and of course Yosemite Sam. The show is also reported to feature CG shorts with Wile E. Coyote and Road Runner and "Merrie Melodies," two-minute music videos showcasing classic characters singing original songs.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Looney_Tunes_Show So it starts in November (Which is soon, hence the thread) and this could be a disaster. I'm not sure if this is being updated in the right way. Turning Bugs and Daffy into modern day bachelors. But it has the usual voice actor and how could the possible fuck up Looney Toons? Aslong as it's clever, witty and funny I won't have a problem. But Bugs and Daffy had a change of setting every episode. This seems silly confining them to one place. They don't seem to be changing the story for Roadrunner so if this all fucks up, atleast that will be ok. What really threw me was the fact it's Cartoon Network. The same Cartoon Network that dropped all it's classic range by 2008. We'll see. It takes a lot of work to fuck up Bugs, Daffy and Road Runner. Work is something CN is not capable of. And... I kinda like the art style after a few looks. And is it possible for Elmer Fudd to still hunt in the suburbs? Doesn't that make him a serial killer? Or Americas most wanted? Or both? EDIT: Here's a fantastic clip Looks good
Bugs Bunny looks a bit... purple-er... than usual.
Welcome to the modern age, bro! Even Bugs Bunny dances at the rainbow!
If this show is gonna be mostly 3D animation, its gonna lose my interest fast. Though the 2D animation looks surprising.
The 3D bit sucked. But: "What's up doc? Oh is that your thing? I don't want to step on any toes." Is just what I want. [editline]11:09PM[/editline] Ok never mind, I loved this: YES. YES! YES! Perfect.
Aslong as it's clever, witty
You mean full of slapstick humor :v:?
This will fail.
This will either be awesome or an abomination.
Please god don't fuck this up

2d > 3d
This has a big chance to crash and burn.
Actually, I don't even care about this. I haven't watched Looney Toons in like... 10 years. Anyone who actually gives a shit must be a manchild or 12.
God damn it why would they do this, looney toons was perfect how it was. It just doesn't have the same feel anymore. :smith:

The 3D animation actually looks really good. It looks like they might actually put a bit of work into this.
I hate the new art style.
I dont care how it looks, as long as stick with the same old shtick. then Im happy.
It's interesting to see the 3D acting in the wacky way of the Looney Tunes physics.

I'm excited and worried at the same time.

Yes, this is a classic!

I've seen all my childhood shows go down the drain and I know others feel this too. Fucking this new Looney Tunes up will be like spitting on our memories. I want my fav childhood shows, if ended, to end knowing that they ended the shows when they were still golden. Reviving them and fucking up will be a disgrace to the old school ones. They better have done a damn good job on this!

Or at least we can hope.

I swear to God if you people fuck this up I will.. Complain about it on the internet.
it looks as though there will be different styles depending on the skit
If this turns out to be awesome, I will have some faith in Cartoon Network.
I have faith! The Roadrunner clip was great, and it was always my favorite part of Looney Tunes.
