• Recording Microphone and "What you Hear" in Fraps

So basically I'm recording gameplay with Fraps And Recording Commentary with Audacity. Bad thing is that whenever I start fraps up and capture my gamefootage, When I try to enable "Record" in Audacity, I end up capturing the sound of the game, or no sound at all. And If I try to change the active "Recording" source on the audio options, it swaps that in fraps so it will will also record whatever I choose. Example : I'm recording Left4Dead with Fraps And Recording my voice with Audacity Whenever I start recording with fraps, Everything is fine. I try to record my voice shortly afterward with Audacity, And either ( It wont Record /or/ It ends up recording the game) And if I switch the active recording source. What I hear --> Microphone The recording source in Fraps changes, and I end up recording my voice in both the game and the program, so I end up with gamefootage with no actual game sounds. Any Halp har?
Set it up to record through your microphone, and just turn the volume up on your speakers. I don't know if there is any possible method of recording sound from gameplay with Fraps and recording sound from an input device like a microphone at the same time.
It worked before, don't know how but it did.
Use What U Hear/Stereo Mixer, and turn your microphone output volume up, you'll hear yourself while it's unmuted but you'll get what you need.
