• Cheap Tripods that accommodate for 24'' sliders? Also a quick Release for a T2i?

Issue 1: I own a small camera slider. Whenever I attach it to my Tripod, it looks fine, when its balanced. If I move the head on the slider (with my camera attached) from side to side, the weight of everything causes the head on the tripod to tip in one direction or the other. The head on the tripod is fastened as tight as it will go and I think there's nothing I can do except get another tripod. I was wondering if you guys might have any suggestions for a reasonably priced budget tripod that can support the weight of a 24'' slider, a T2i DSLR, a Zacuto view finder, and a medium sized lens. Whenever I want to attach my camera to my tripod, I have to get the camera, the mount piece and my tripod together - attach the camera to the attachment piece by screwing it in, then finally inserting the mount piece into the tripod. Another situation is whenever the mount piece is on the camera and I need to change batteries, I have to take everything apart just to have access to the battery area under the camera! It is very time consuming and I could use some advice on how to get rid of this problem. Thanks!
Well, the problem with tripod strength and build quality is that you straight up get what you pay for. If you're desperate and don't mind lugging a bit of kit around, you could get a cheap tripod and a monopod for the lens (if you can find a tripod adapter for it).
I have a monopod, but for my purposes I really need a tripod that can hold what I have. I don't have a large camera or an extra large lens... So something mid-low range should be able to hold it. I just want to be sure before I fork any money out what that might be.
