So yesterday I signed a lease with two other buddies of mine (one of them is a member of FP, although I can't remember his alias on here). This will be my first apartment. The lease is for next year, and all of us will be juniors (by year, but nearly seniors by credits). The apartment is ridiculously close to campus, which is very convenient in the winter because otherwise I feel as though I wouldn't have enough motivation getting up early enough to take the bus to get to class when it's snowing. It's going to be fucking balling. Check out some pics. We also get free catering delivery from Legends (which is on the floor above ours). My parents pay for all my college stuff, books, tuition, living, etc - so I don't have to worry about the price, but this apartment is about $420 per month per person, which includes all the utilities and some other benefits like free gym membership (although I have that through my school anyway). This building is also party-central, you can just walk from floor to floor and just go into random parties.

Only difference with the picture above is that there is an entrance to our balcony against that far back wall. The balcony is huge, and has an amazing view over the campus from the 6th floor.

I was also texting one of my friends about it, and he gave me some ingenious ideas
Me: yeah. I'm on the 6th floor and the balcony view is to die for.
Him: no. the staircase is to die for. it calls for something awesome to happen. like riding a bike down it. or using couch cushions to get down it.
Me: rofl, will do and I'll make vids when I host parties and get drunk down it
And I'm going to try to find a picture of the view from the balcony, which is to die for.
What do you guys think of the apartment? Any other college students here renting apartments that care to chime in?

Awesome, nice place.
Have sex on the stairs.

Legacy Palace
That even sounds badass.
I wish I had a place like that.

Sick pad, tiny kitchen. Where are your lady friends supposed to stay?

It is a legend.
Sweet as shit apt. I'd kill for an oppertunity like that.
IDK about the price though. Seems a bit steep to me, but living in the UK, what the fuck do I know about US property prices?
420 per person for a place like that!?!
What a deal.
you should really get a part time job to at least pay for a little of it
then you will be pretty respectable
As a student you're supposed to rent a house not an apartment. Much more house party potential :V:
only 420 per person
you're fucking joking
Monkeythis.com
I saw it, what do I win
that looks so sick!

Not sure if that's sarcasm, but I never said it was only 420. I don't know how that compares to other apartment prices, but the location, actual apartment, benefits, and view were worth it for me.

No no no no no no no no
That's a fucking amazing deal
You should do a dance for everyone to show your happiness every single day
I would love to live in an apartment like that. But living in a shit town in the east of England the most I'm going to get is a cramped flat with stairs covered in piss. And even then I'll get overcharged.
Ain't nothin' like a cozy little apartment, right guys?
Was the apartment furnished like that? TV, beds, and all? Is your cable/internet service covered at 420x3 a month?
If so you're a bitch. I'd love to live there.
Can't wait until one of you gets drunk and falls down the stairs and breaks your neck. To die for!
(But yeah, this is a pretty cool apartment. Good job!)
cool thanks for sharing
nice place
Damn that is one amazing looking apartment.

It's in IOWA.
Fucking IOWA.
$420 is probably a fortune there.
Wow shit, that's a nice apartment. Is it as large as the pictures make it look? Or is it just me?
