Good, the gamepad is one of the best things about the console. It's amazing how good things look good on it, when playing games like Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Land the gamepad screen almost looks pre-rendered at times it's so good looking.
I think it has a lot of potential for modding The more sales, the better
Give me Solid Snake and I'll give you my money.

There may even be hope for this in the future since it seems Kojima's recent hard on is with multi-platform gaming. Also, I would hope nintendo is turning things around, I've spent $400 these past 2 weeks on my new wii U. Damnit nintendo, stop giving me reasons to spend my hard earned money! D:

The lure of cheap Wii games is insane, I'm already building a decent collection.
I'm on the verge of buying a Wii U but I still ain't sure. I don't think I'll get much use out of it. I think I will impulse buy it though when Smash Bro's is released, I'm quite good at doing that.

I'll admit my Wii U spends 95% of the time collecting dust, but whenever some friends come over we boot it up and have loads of fun with splitscreen games, which is what I think is Nintendo's strong point.

That mario kart 8 bundle has INSANE value considering the price of it. Only $330 for the wii U, mario kart 8, one free game (until july 31st), a gamepad, complete with recharge cable and station, and a mario themed wii mote+. Then on top of all that, they had to do that flash sale on the eShop after their E3 announcements. Let me snag windwaker HD for $35.

A lot of stores across the UK are stopping stocking Nintendo products. There are people getting premium systems for £130, Wii Fit U complete bundles for £5, Wiimote Plus controllers for £5 etc. My HMV sucks so it isn't doing this shit but eh, worth a go. :v:

I've been shopping around at the mo and have seen it for £239 from Tesco. I've just tweeted GAME to see if they have stock, if they do, I'll go down and buy it tomorrow. Thanks for the replies above as well, you persuaded me even more :v: [editline]20th June 2014[/editline] My local HMV is more or less in my town center, not sure if I can be arsed to trek that far cause I know for a fact ours is shit too.

They advertise the MK8 bundle for £239 but in-store they're £249. Grainger Games has the same online price and actually stick to it in-store so they got my purchase that day. Plus I got a reward card with the purchase with £4 of credit. :v:
