Hey!
I made a car at school and its a r8 and looks like shit... First because the prof. wouldnt listen to me when I said "the front is too high" and stuff like that.
I want to make a new car at home, by myself, but I don't remember what wood we used to make it.
Or any of you have any other better materials that are better for making cars?

I think it's kinda nice. How big is it and do you have more pictures?
its a 1:10 scale model, or 47cm long.

Thats why I want to make a new one, all I need is what wood is it OR what is good modeling wood

You mean you won't, not you can't.
Can't assumes impossibility.
what kind of argument?
the qestion was what wood is goog 4 crafting. argument was that the car sucs and that he never listened when i sad the cars front is too big, not enough detail... and no detail. i like making cars but no with someone telling me what 2 do.
Pinewood maybe? Those crappy derby cars boy scouts make are Pinewood. It's soft are workable, but not soft enough to warp and break easily.

A bit offtopic, but damn, thats a beautiful car.
ill go take a look at a shop, if pinewood is for any use...

jesus fucking christ just ask him.
Your argument was on the level of "I like red, no I like blue cause red sucks"
and always listen to people who know more about the subject you don't know about.
trust me on that. I'm a blacksmiths apprentice and I get proof on that daily.
The front is too high, though
lol it was not only thing we argued...
i just need the woods..
i even told him that his boats suck because they are 2heavy and the engines are 2 strong and that the dont float well.
he is stubborn so he got pissed off and yelled at my and I left...lol
this thread turned in a lifes problem thread -.-
Wow. I'm sure he'll hate you forever and poison your food with laxatives.
yeah...probably...
Can you pls not comment if you dont know the answer?!
The question is:
What wood is used to make this car???
answer is: ask whoever provided you the materials to build it.
Nop thats not the answer.
Sorry 3v3ryb0dy, U dont know the answer so stop writing in this thread.
You can't seriously lack the basic social skills of apology and question forming.
[editline]1st December 2011[/editline]
it's not like you have pride or anything since you chose to create an audi R8 out of all the cars in the world
Yes, im not apologising, he is an asshole...
Lol Im not gonna make a real world car next time, just my own concept :P
it doesn't matter if he's asshole or not it matters he has the answer.
:) im not asking him...
fp is full of ppl someone probably knows..
It would help if you told us how it was made
out of wood... 4 pieces of wood glued together and then carved and shaped out. (without interior)
I don't think there's a one specific type of wood then, just see what you can get
yea im gonna go to a wood shop place one day...which is not in my town and ask someone there..
