• DMT? Spiritual?

I know a lot of facepunch people are anti religious and such. But i've heard some crazy spiritual things on DMT and I was considering trying it. Has anyone tried it and have they had an experience like that?
One time I saw Jesus when I was on shrooms, he came and touched my face and said "I love you, my son." I started laughing and rolling on the floor. Make of that what you will.
I would say DMT is not spiritual in the religious sense, it's more "spiritual" in the way that it blasts your consciousness a million lightyears away from your body on Earth to places that are inexplicable by human words. But it's not hard to imagine how that kind of experience can certainly change a person's religious and worldviews.
First time I took 4-AcO-DMT I got a glimpse of some kind of macabre angel-like form I'm pretty sure was some kind of higher being. It made me start believing in the existence of SOME form of higher beings but not necessarily "God".
When I did DMT the first time I saw 5 guy-things that had animal heads then they morphed into the head of a Chinese dragon. (like, the long dragons in old Chinese artwork) and it told me that morality is limitation. Scared the living shit out of me at the time.
When I smoked DMT, I watched a rainforest grow before my eyes out of an ashen plane, all within seconds. Eyes began opening all over everything, the forest turned crystalline and geometric and assumed sentience. Then it communicated things to me that I really can't describe... that was years ago, but it still left a huge impression on me and I think that it was a very spiritually healing experience.
When you are subjected to a replaced reality, you kind of have to accept it at the time. One still has to recognize it was a hallucination, from a drug. But, it is still fascinating that such things can come from your mind. But, more importantly to answering your question directly, what do they mean by spiritual? Just because it is profound is not an excuse to make up woo-woo. The main thing I got from breaking through on 4-AcO-DMT was a feeling of oneness, "becoming the universe" if you will. Which, when one considers that there really is no physical barrier between you and the universe, is a pretty genuine feeling. If that's spiritual, then ok. But most people don't use spiritual in that sense, rather they use it as a floaty fluffy word to go along with woo-woo. At least, considering the definition, I wouldn't say my experience was religious by any standard. Nor do I see that it revealed some sort of nonphyiscal "soul". Even if it did, I'm not going to believe in it simply because I had the experience. It would be no different to religious people claiming personal revelation as evidence.

But damn i wish i could find DMT someday.
I checked on silkroad back when it was online, i think for 20$ you could get 2-3 trip. Or you can buy plant/root and extract them yourself.

It hit me super hard.
And now to find the root... the only sources ive found is out of stock
I hate it when people say they MADE DMT when they only EXTRACTED it, as someone who loves chemistry, semantics like this piss me off haha
I hate it when people say they MADE DMT when they only EXTRACTED it, as someone who loves chemistry, semantics like this piss me off haha
is there a chemistry way to make dmt without extracting it?
Yeah you can synthesize it obviously lol
You can get 5 breakthrough doses for 20usd online
Best online vendor for the bark/root and best tek to use?
Is DMT one of those you 'do it one' time drugs, or do people actually do it alot just for pleasure?
i did it alot , but not for pleasure...
Is DMT one of those you 'do it one' time drugs, or do people actually do it alot just for pleasure?
It's definitely not a pleasure drug, but it will REALLY open your mind like you wouldn't believe, so yes I would say you could do it a lot, not for pleasure, but for the mind-opening experiences that it brings.
DMT definitely isn't a pleasure drug, but I'm not going to lie, there is a rush of adrenaline coming out of the experience every time, much like stepping off of a rollercoaster.
it has changed me so much as a person, gave me some spiritual insights and a motivation to work on myself as person, both physical and mental. gave me a perspective on the universe, also way more creative with instruments. some of those dmt fueled choices i made send me into the right path of good people that showed me unconditional love. the downside of being in the fourth dimension too much, it brought me questions and chaos
These are a pretty recurrent theme when I smoke DMT [t]http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/2/27/Face_of_Praying_Mantis.jpg[/t] [editline]6th August 2014[/editline] Which is funny because they don't even live in my country
I only managed to find non powdered mimosa, powdered seems alway out of stock, how should i blend them?
Non powdered is better anyways as less of it is exposed to the air for less amount of time so the good stuff isn't oxidized as much. Just hammer it out between some towels in a plastic bag and then grind up the smaller pieces in a coffee grinder if you have one.
