Sorry, guys. I don't have a 'native english' source for it yet.

summary:
-Back in 2001 teacher Heidi K. accused co-worker Horst Arnold of anally raping her in the biology classroom.
-Horst Arnold pleaded not guilty, but has been found guilty and sentenced to 5 years in prison.
-He lost his spouse, his job and due to financial problems he had to live in a social house.
-In 2011 a court approved his innocence.
-A year later before he got his compensation for his imprisonment Horst Arnold died of a heart attack while riding on his bicycle.
-According to psychologists Heidi K. suffers from a strong need of attention.
-Apparently she made up multiple stories, including a miscarriage, that she lost her daughter during traffic accidents, she would suffer from cancer, and so on.
-Heidi K. has been sentenced to about 5 1/2 years in prison.
5 and a half is no where near long enough for fucking someones life
It sucks that someone could get so utterly fucked just for existing near a woman.
I'd like to just have a session in a room with her where I can give her face all the attention it deserves, from my fist.
You want to know where she could go to get all the attention she deserves?
It involves straight jackets~
There really should be a harder punishment for people who make up stories to get others in jail. That shits just wrong on so many levels.
i bet the court in 2001 just ignored the lack of evidence and went with her testimony because she was the victim. this is why while rape is a horrible crime, we cannot just assume guilt, we need to investigate to the best possible degree.
Everything is rape nowadays.
Not really about Germany but still relevant:

also one wonders how many other people have suffered the same fate in the american justice system, especially with the out of control plea-bargain system which basically circumvents the legal system and assumes guilt. i know this is german law, but shit like this probably has happened over here plenty of times too.
Oh God. People, this was like one single incident, don't start using this to justify shit.

Too late.

oh snap you'd better watch the fuck out or else that secret coalition of black, Asian, Latino and Muslim women are gonna ~destroy us all~
Was there any investigation when he was first accused? Because that's fucked up when a your wife leaves. your credibility ruined, and jailed for five years. seriously how could you overlook the possibility the coworker was talking out her ass, and is a psycho?
ouch that must really suck losing everything.
Oh God. People, this was like one single incident, don't start using this to justify shit.
There's been more than one, but it's most certainly not an epidemic, or even common, as Facepunch seems to think.

The point is it can happen and does happen and it isn't taken seriously enough. Men are so demonized that everyone assumes their guilt upon accusation and even if they're acquitted they still have to suffer under permanent suspicion.
False accusation happens, it doesn't matter how often it happens, it still happens.

There's no way to know how common it is. Any statistics about false accusation only cover those that are caught, there's no way to know how many people are currently in jail because of a false accusation. I hope it isn't common but it very well might be.

I wasn't justifying anything.
Do you approve of what happened to the man or some such?
The woman obviously has problems. Don't celebrate this as some sort of victory over an evil doer. I hope she gets some sort of treatment in prison.

One single incident is still one too many. Current laws obviously didn't prevent this from happening, so what's to stop something like this from happening again?

this reminds me so much of electric retard

Yeah it's rare people go to death row while innocent only to be proven innocent after dying. Still happens.
It's not okay no matter how rare it is, which is an argument that can't be had without statistics we won't have any time soon. But dismissing it as too rare to care about is stupid
False accusations will ruin your life. I guess I am a man so it doesn't quite work the same way, but I'd rather be raped than accused of rape anyday.
People who lie about rape are fucking disgusting, good job wanker! you just ruined a guys life *and* weakened the legitimacy of real rape victims!
this woman needs serious help if she is willing to ruin someone life for attention what the fuck.

laws against anything don't prevent them from happening

I would never approve of anything like this because it's morally wrong on so many levels. However, for you to say that existing near a woman would cause this, or to assume that all women in general do this says a lot about you.
More boxes please, hop on the bandwagon more, people!
A more appropiate title would be "Woman sentenced to more than 5 years in jail because of a conviction of a teacher due to false rape accusations".
A more appropiate title would be "Student sentenced to more than 5 years in jail because of a conviction of a teacher due to false rape accusations".
she wasn't a student.

I guess we should just get rid of those pesky laws altogether then, right?

How is Zeke arguing this?
