A group of children have been hospitalised in Colombia after they were found to have been living in an isolated cave with their family.
The family, who were living in the cave without electricity or running water, had been there for so long that they reportedly developed their own language.
In May, the Colombian government ordered the removal of the six children, whose age ranged from three months old to eight years old, because of health concerns.
According to Brazilian TV station Globo, which investigated the case this week, the children had never had a haircut or been exposed to technology.
When they were taken to hospital they reportedly panicked upon seeing a hair clipper and television for the first time.
They're conspiring against us. :tinfoil:
Neato.
Lost boys.
Was one of the words "mungo"
I'm curious to how come Cavemen couldn't do the same.
Seeing as how i'm pretty sure the parents have language skills from before their self imposed caveity, I don't think it exactly spontaneously generated

There are no such thing as "cavemen", who are you referring to?

We didn't have a fully functional edition of this:

The humans of the era you are referring to might not have had the capability of speaking.
Snu Snu
I want to hear their language.

Less developed brains and vocal cords.
All we know is that "Cavemen" couldn't write/read, they could make childish paintings and hunt, and hunting takes some kind of coordination so they probably could speak, even if it wasn't as evolved as our languages now.

By this logic, every animal that hunts with co-ordination can speak. Lions, for instance.

you know I've always wondered who in the hell even laughs like that
HWA HWA HWA HWA HWA HWA
I would actually be interested in hearing some of this language. Since the parents were still around, and presumably spoke Spanish (that is the main language of Columbia, right?), I doubt they had a fully distinct language, but even a unique dialect would be interesting to study for a bit.

To be sincere it isn't exactly ''HUE HUE HUE HUE''
that's the stereotype joke of it, it is actually much more complex
the known brazillian laugh ''AuhuahAUhA''(at least how i use it) works sort of like this
step 1: place your hands over keyboard right before laughing
step 2: shake your hands furiously according to your laughing spasms
due to random swing over keyboard there may be many variations, i for one usually place my hands over H U A and shift.
I find it a much better, and messy, way to virtually laugh other than the emotionless ''lol''
By the way don't officialize it, that's my point of view and how i personally use it, no research or survey was done in the making of this post.
my cousins did this
although it was actually just babble so meh

It isn't actually pronounced the way it looks in English.
The HUE HUE HUE or whatever Brazilian laugh is just what produces the HAHAHAHA sound but in their language. Spanish for example would be "jajajaja" because the j has an h sound.
Dude.
They do it all the time.
I used to do it.
:frog:
Oh my god they're living in a different way to the way we want them to live!
(this means they arn't happy because they arnt getting money from the family in some way)
We must take the children away for health concerns!
(they must be subjugated in to our way of living and thinking... and pay taxes)
