Hi fellas.
So I want a new computer. Something better then what I got. So far the only thing I've decided on is the graphicscard which will be (Asus) Radeon HD5770 1024MB, a WD Caviar GreenPower and a Cooler Master Centurion case. Also I want a Intel 775-socket mobo preferably.
What mobo/cpu/pcu etc. would work good with that card?
I've also decided that I'm gonna have a company build and update the computer for me, as the last one I built didn't work as good as I wanted to. So it's not sure all the parts will be available but I got around $1 300 (£830/900€) to play with. If there's anything else you need to know just ask.
Any help? ^^;
If you tell us your budget it would help (also include currency),
"So it's not sure all the parts will be available but I got around $1 300 (£830/900€/10 000sKr) to play with"
I did :P Added swedish currency.
I will use http://www.dataparadiset.com/prodinfo.aspx?pid=9284 to buy parts and they'll build the stuff too.

Ughh, just build it yourself and use a better site. It only takes like 30 minutes for someone who's new to building computers, and you'll save around $100 USD.
If you insist on not building it yourself, use a different site. Puget systems is pretty fairly priced, as is iBUYPOWER. But you will still save at least $100 USD if you head out to newegg, pick the parts there, and build it yourself.
Also why do you want an LGA775 set? Those are outdated as hell. The 1366, 1156, and AM3 CPUs are cheaper and perform better.
Yeh well I just wanna play it safe. Especially with CPU's being all fragile and stuff. :(
Like I said, I built the current rig I have. It was some year ago. And it's not working as intended.
For example, the CPU fan is running on 100% all the time. I've had it to shop to get it looked up but they couldn't find anything. I'm just to insecure to build another one myself. ^^;
To poster above;
I live in sweden. :/ I kinda wanna get stuff from sweden so if something needs to be replaced I don't have to wait 2 weeks for it to be shipped. As for the 775, well, I've heard they're quite reliable. ._.
Edit again;
Would something like a AMD Athlon II X4 630 AM3 do any good with Gigabyte GA-MA770T-UD3P, Socket-AM3?
Why would you get a 630 on such a High Budget?

You username explains everything.

So my lack of knowledge in computer building makes me a retard? Well done, you all-knowing.
Also, I dunno why I would get a 630 whatever with my budget. I went after what other people had and recommended, much like I'm doing here. If I knew what brands were good or what works well with what I wouldn't have made this thread now would I? All I know is not to try putting a AMD-CPU in a Intel-socket.
Jeez I didn't know this would end up being this counter-productive.

I mean do not come in with biasedness. Just come in tell us where you are from and what you are going to do with the computer also a budget.
I've been told that asking questions might teach you something.
But if you wanna do the work...
I live in Sweden,
the computer will be used for gaming and some photoshopping.
And I have about 10 000~11 000 sKr/1000 euro/1 500 USD/900 GBP as a budget
There, go banans.
Listen,
Hook me up with a Swedish Site and I can help.

But you're more then welcome to use whichever site you want and I'll find the same things later on swedish sites.
And if there's room for a new monitor 22" and above that would be swell.
Thank you very much. :) Really appreciate it.
May I ask what's the difference between http://www.dustinhome.se/pd_5010367109.aspx and http://www.dustinhome.se/pd_5010335477.aspx ? Aside from the price range and the fact that one's named Sapphire and the other Gigabyte? Or any other card for that matter.

Different stickers really, Maybe a better batch of hardware but apart from that and any factory overclocks they don't differ.

This. I would suggest however he takes the Sapphire seeing how they've always been the better with ATI
