You might remember it by its codename, Bounce. The company didn't say much in the announcement. Actually, it didn't say anything. We're treated to a 'coming soon' page on Motorola's UK site (pictured above) and this YouTube video highlighting the phone's Moto ShatterShield display. Watch it fall. See how much better it sticks the landing than those other guys.
It won't come to the US, sadly.
I'm glad they're making a version without that gaudy Verizon logo on it. I can't stand when carriers plaster their huge logo on the front of phones.
It won't come to the US, sadly.
Shittt, well there goes wanting to get one here in the States I guess...
It won't come to the US, sadly.
Nothing stopping you from paying a UK friend across the pond and having them ship it back overseas to you so you can get this phone without Verizon's bullshit.

Also last time I tried to get a UK friend to buy me something it ended up failing horribly.

But phones are now having both FDD and TDD
I've never seen a phone with a carrier logo on it.
I've never seen a phone with a carrier logo on it.
Never been to America, eh?
Never been to America, eh?
Nope! Is it seriously that common?
If you buy a phone from a carrier, it's probably got their logo on it.
They even modify the files of the phone itself so you get a big flashing AT&T logo when you boot up your phone

I just saw a commercial for this on TV in Arizona. Seems like it's coming state side after all. Too bad I just bought a Samsung S5 lol.

The first time you open up Messaging+ it pops up saying DO YOU WANT TO USE THIS OR THE DEFAULT MESSAGING? And then when you hit yes, Android asks you the same thing a second time. It also takes maybe 15 seconds to go into settings, go to defaults, etc. Not defending the practice, but apps like that generally only run if you let them.
