Adblock Plus and DownloadHelper.
I recently replaced Noscript & Adblock with RequestPolicy. It blocks any cross site requests from sites not on your whitelist (eg. all advertising images, off-site javascript, session tracking scripts, flash banners, XSS attacks, etc.). Yet still allows all content hosted on the sites domain to run, so doesn't interfere with a sites JS menus/ajax etc. It takes a little while to whitelist all the sites you use regularly and there's still the odd bit you blocked content you have to enable here & there. Once you get it set up though it runs like a dream. (Took me around a weeks worth of general casual browsing to get my whitelist so I'm not having to unblock stuff regularly. I also use Greasemonkey, User agent switcher, Firebug, Google Gears, Hide Menubar.
Where's all the StumbleUpon?

Adblock Plus Adblock Plus: Element Hiding Helper Cookie Manager Button Download Helper Glasser Greasemonkey IE Tab NoScript Password Exporter Undo Closed Tabs Button Strata Reloaded theme I try to keep addons to a minimum so my FF doesn't slow down too much.
I don't use any, because nothing is compatible with Firefox 3.6 yet. When I was using 3.0, I had Greasemonkey, Platypus!, ABP, Cooliris, NoScript, hidemenubar, DownThemAll, IE Tab, Useragent switcher, abcTajpu, Leetkey, and the 4chan tool.
Adblock Plus Flashgot Greasemonkey w. rapidshare link checker and Ultimate FP. TrustMonkey (Trustpilot.com) Tells you whether to trust to buy from the site you're on out of users experience.
Greasemonkey I don't see the point in anything else except maybe some media plugins that get put in addons.
Greasemonkey I don't see the point in anything else except maybe some media plugins that get put in addons.
How do you stand using the internet without Adblock? :aaa:
I like to keep my add-ons to a minimal.
Thank you thread, I'm now enjoying Download Statusbar.

Everyone with Glasser should get Hide Menubar; it makes it look less stupid with that white line around the Aero.
This thread has prompted me to go on an addon spree. I'm now using Download Statusbar, Organize Statusbar, Stylish, and WOT as well as the ones in my first post. Ad-block plus noscript Dat's it. :v:
I use the least I can. They significantly reduce start performance and can cause various issues. That said, I use Adblock Plus, Noscript and DownloadHelper.
I use the least I can. They significantly reduce start performance and can cause various issues. Fortunately enough, the only addon that I've had a problem with was the worthless Real Player downloader addon.
Eh, I like a minimalist look.
Fair enough. I tried going without it myself for a while, but I'm far too used to finding it up there to keep it that way.
If you don't have AdBlock Plus, you're an idiot for even using Firefox. Pixlr is an easy addon if you screen shot website pages a lot, like I do and want to edit it without leaving your browser. And DownThemAll :love::love:
Jesus christ psp401.com, how long does it take for firefox to start after a reboot? [editline]01:40AM[/editline]
Ad-block plus noscript Dat's it. :v:
Try RequestPolicy. It pretty much replaces both... My current whitelist. Import it to save manually adding a bunch of stuff which isn't included in the default white list (imageshack, flickr, embedded youtube links etc.).
