Under the Political Parties and Referendums Act 2000 all parties need to confirm their registration details with the Electoral Commission. But despite having six months notice, the BNP missed the deadline. BNP spokesman Stephen Squire said: "It's the first I've heard of it - it's obviously an oversight." By law, the Electoral Commission has to remove from its register any political party that fails to submit its details.
Doubt anything will come out of it, wouldn't surprise me if they're more heavy handed in this case than with other parties, though.
So fucking what, BNP's a joke anyways.
Might as well quit anyway. Pretty much anyone who would have voted BNP have moved onto UKIP.
Is the BNP even alive nowadays?
The BNP had a campaign facist, but the people didnt listen them(im not sure if that was that "group")
so is ukip the more sexy bmp now?
so is ukip the more sexy bmp now?
BNP are pretty much openly fascist. Comparing them to the BNP is pretty unfair even though I don't like them.
so is ukip the more sexy bmp now?
BNP and UKIP are pretty far from each other.
BNP and UKIP are pretty far from each other.
But y the people say the UKIP are from far-right?
But y the people say the UKIP are from far-right?
Because the right wing party in Britain is the Conservative Party, meaning that people say UKIP, which are more right-wing in most respects than the Conservatives are 'far-right'. In reality, they are far to the left of most of the European far-right populist parties and a long way away from the openly fascist BNP.
