Well as you noticed in the title, I have on simple problem. I have installed Supreme Commander Forged Alliance and whenever I try to start it, it says Failed to create Direct3d, and then something about the graphics drivers. The display adapter in my computer is this: Intel G2915G/GV/910GL Chipset family. I am going to guess that those are the graphics devices. I say "those" because in the Device Manager, it is listed twice. So back to the original problem of the direct3d not being created. I typed DXDIAG into RUN and it said it Direct3d Acceleration: Enabled. So what should I do??? Please i really want to be able to run this game on this computer because Forged Alliance requires a lot of CPU to run and this computer has a ton. About 2 or 3 Ghz more then my laptop which I normally use. PLEASE HELP!!!!
hahahahahaha [editline]01:18AM[/editline] Seriously though your graphics card is way too underpowered for FA. It won't run. Simple as that.
There is no way??? I have an actual graphics card lying around somewhere right now and If u put that in would it at least have a chance??? There is one problem though. Where i beleive the graphics card slot should be, there is nothing. Is there something i can but to attach to there??? The computer has got tons of CPU processor speed so if I could get FA to start it would run like a dream. It would Also help if you could give me the link to a picture or something sowing where the graphics card inside of a computer is. I am pretty sure I know but I would like to know for sure.
