Lamb of God’s Randy Blythe has been acquitted of manslaughter charges in the Czech Republic, Novinky.cz reports. He will not serve jail time, nor does he owe any monetary damages to the family of nineteen year old fan Daniel Nosek, who suffered fatal injuries at a Lamb of God show in 2010.
Randy handled the entire case with such respect and decency, it was just amazing. I'm beyond ecstatic to see him go home.

It seems this case has been laid to rest.

Yeah I was loosely following his little ordeal, the whole time he said he was going to go back and face it. He wasn't going to run or stay in America knowing full well knowing they couldn't touch him here.
I'm very surprised this case went in his favor though, I was really expecting him to get jail time.
Ok, someone please correct me if I'm wrong, but this kid died at the concert right? At a Lamb of God concert? With mosh pits, walls of death, and all of the other brutal things that may happen?
Shocker. What I don't get, is how Randy is at all responsible for his death. You should know what you're getting into when going to such an intense concert, of course it sucks for the family, but you honestly can't blame anyone for this.

Do your research before voicing your opinion.
Because he shoved him off the stage, after first saying: "Come on up"to the crowd.
The victim Daniel Nosek fell backwards on his head, leading to a coma and eventually death.
In my opinion he is guilty.

He allegedly pushed him off the stage, after the fan rushed on. There was another fan that also rushed the stage several times:
Pořádek testified that Blythe knocked him down, knelt on him and held him down for a moment, however that Blythe definitely did not choke him. He also admitted that taking into account that he was drunk and the way he acted, Blythe's reaction was adequate. He commented that he grasped that he was not wanted on stage.
For clarity, the statement above is Pořádek's account of what happened to him, not what happened to Nosek (the one who died).

That's also how I determine whether or not someone is guilty of manslaughter, the amount of poise

Why are you trying to start shit? That's not even what he said, and you're twisting his words.

Um, I am pretty sure America would hand him over if he was being tried for murder (and even as he promised to return).

He's "beyond ecstatic" to see someone who killed a person go home
Manslaughter means accidentally killing someone, Blythe accidentally killed someone, I can't possibly imagine why he wasn't found guilty
how did he get out of this?
how did he get out of this?
He's a celebrity

Actually, some testimony and medical assessment said that the person jumped off the podium on their own (for instance, the person somehow got past first row of people under the podium - this guy doesn't look like somebody capable of few meter full person throw.
I guess they didn't see there's enough proof it was him who caused the person to fall.
Randy is nowhere near strong enough to do the kind of damage described.

pushing now requires incredible strength
pushing now requires incredible strength
Pushing somebody so hard they fly over corridor of a fence (albeit apparently quite narrow) and then a row of people, does require quite a bit, tho.
He's a celebrity
Exactly. Imagine how this argument would be if a fan pushed Randy off of the stage and accidentally killed him.

That would be clear though and nothing to 'research'.
Even if Randy were responsible for this man's death it wouldn't have been deserving of punishment, especially given the circumstances. When someone runs up on stage, you're going to get distracted or stressed out - we've all heard of things happening like what happened to Dimebag Darrell.

Because there was no evidence that the person who died was ever pushed by him in the first place. It was never even brought to anyone's attention until 2 years after it happened. Have you read literally anything about his case? From the the way you talk about it, it seems as though you only ever read the headlines.

Actually, thats why the Czech government was pushing so hard for him to be prosecuted, not why he was acquitted.
I love how all the comments on the metalsucks article just drip with fanboyism.
Exactly. Imagine how this argument would be if a fan pushed Randy off of the stage and accidentally killed him.
Difference being Randy is paid to be on that stage, the fan isn't. The fan would have intentions to go up there, Randy didn't want him there.
